Beginner & Improver Coaching Sessions

New to climbing?

You can buy a beginner coaching session through the app and book on to one of our classes.

During the beginner coaching session you will cover the fundamentals of indoor bouldering and equip yourself with techniques to get started

Our beginner coaching sessions work in three week cycles with the focus of the session changing each week. You can book individual sessions or book all three weeks which cover footwork in week 1, route reading in week 2 and overhangs in the final session.

 

These sessions run 18:00-19:00 every Tuesday and Thursday, costing £15 per session or a block of 3 for £35.

We also run an Improvers Coaching session every Tuesday and Thursday from 19:00 – 20:00, which follows straight on from the Beginner Coaching sessions.

Strength & Conditioning Classes

We now offer Strength & Conditioning classes at 6pm every Monday.

Classes will feature a six week strength cycle aimed at providing members with a structured, progressive program that caters specifically to the needs of boulderers.

The classes will be heavily geared towards helping improve climbing performance and overall health. As well as demonstrating exercises to improve climbing specific strength, Will will ensure you learn about key skills such as:

– How to apply intensity and what it feels like

– The importance of lifestyle factors (such as sleep, nutrition and stress management) in order to improve longevity and recovery from training

– How to spot early warning signs of fatigue and injury

– Principals such as progressive overload and how it can be used to your climbing training

£10 including climbing, or £5 for pass holders!
