Tops on policy

From May 12th Rock Over Climbing will be introducing a ‘Tops on’ policy across all centres which will require all customers to wear a top when in the centre.

Keeping our community feeling welcomed and safe is incredibly important to Rock Over and although it can get warm, not all customers will feel comfortable climbing in an environment with other people climbing with their tops off. As all major climbing competitions require tops to be worn when climbing, it is possible to climb hard while wearing a shirt.

Please be aware that although this may seem like an inconvenience, this change has come at the request of many of our customers and we do believe this is a positive step forward in making the sport a more inclusive space.

Vests, crop tops and sport bras are fine, and if you do feel the centre is too warm at any point please let the team at reception know and we’ll be happy to put on more fans or open the windows.
